Jessica and Russ Jones exchanged their vows on September 30th surrounded by a few close friends and family, their son and their sweet little girl who was just adorable! Jessica’s dress reminded me of a Grecian goddess, it was so lovely and simple. Just perfect for a beach wedding. It was a bit cloudy for the ceremony but right toward the end of the evening, a tiny sliver of sunset glory peeked out on the horizon. I don’t think these two noticed though–they were too busy looking at each other! Congratulations Jessica and Russ!
I had so much fun with Michelle and Nick during their wedding….Nick was an absolute walking bundle of nerves but most grooms are! Their wedding day in Mexico Beach was near perfection–bright and sunny, warm and the beach was beautiful. Their arch selection of the Seashell Sweet was just the right one for them–Michelle’s starfish hair clip was an awesome match to our seashell garland and the colors were so lovely. And I have to say, Michelle had the most gorgeous caramel colored brown eyes…she was a stunning bride! And their little boy was so stinking cute! I wanted to just pack him up with my wedding equipment and take him home with me–he was so adorable and loved having his photos taken! I hope you enjoy the photos and congrats to the lovely couple!
Cheryl and Marcus asked me to help them with their intimate wedding at Pinnacle Port and I was so happy to do so. This couple, so young and so sweet, were just a joy to work with. Their little boy was having nothing to do with me taking his picture though—he just wasn’t interested in the lady with the camera! LOL. But it was neat to get a photo of Cheryl and Marcus revealing the name of their yet to be born little girl–they had not told anyone yet and planned on using my photo of the reveal to let their friends and family know. So cute! And on top of that, they were blessed with a beautiful sunset to finish off their special day. Congratulations Cheryl and Marcus–both on your wedding and on your little family!
Ahh, August. I could not wait for you to be gone and Winter to arrive….The heat, the sudden pop up afternoon thunderstorms. The humidity that makes even my stick straight hair do some sort of curly, crazy thing! But still, August weddings mean I get to meet couples like Aleisha and Cliff, one of the sweetest, most patient couples I think I have had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. So, did it rain on their special day? Yes. Did we have to wait for it to stop raining? Yes. Were we able to still have the wedding and it be perfect? Yes. Aleisha and Cliff understood the weather could not be helped and actually, the rain did cool things down a bit so that it was not so blazing hot. The lighting was soft, the skies definitely dramatic and Love brightened everything up. Hurry back August–you aren’t so bad after all!
Hope you enjoy the photos of this beautiful couple as much as I enjoyed being a part of their special day!
